Lynda Staples

Lynda is an accessibility expert specializing in AODA compliance. She has a background in project management and has worked in the field of accessibility for more than 20 years. Lynda played a significant role in the development of the Built Environment Standards and Design of Public Spaces Standards which are now included with the IASR. Currently, she is contributing to the development of standards within the Accessible Canada Act.

Expanding her area of expertise, Lynda has advanced her skills in PDF remediation and Web auditing for WCAG compliance. Lynda provides expert knowledge and support on legislative compliance, and most recently remote training sessions in Accessible documentation. Lynda’s practice is informed by her own lived experience.
